A cool cyborg as a symbol of AI in a creative workspace

Do I use AI?

Better Google, wrong answers, bubble, job killer, am I really using this devilish stuff?

Oh, absolutely. I love AI, it opens up endless possibilities.

These days the question is no longer “How do I do something?” The harder and more important question is “What can I do?”.

The huge advantage is that suddenly everyone can make almost anything, but that is also the downside. The moment somebody puts out something good, everyone else can copy it right away. You can see that all over YouTube.

Even with AI, everything here stays real and personal.

I use AI:

- for the technical build of this website, and I am learning a lot while doing it.

- for creating generic images, meaning images that are not about personal experiences.

- for image editing, I have been using Luminar Neo for years.

- for brainstorming, sorting my thoughts, and checking ideas.

- and we will see what else I end up using it for.

Where I do not use AI:

- not for writing my texts, at most as a thesaurus or a second pair of eyes.

- I do not let it generate adventures and then sell them as mine without actually living them.

- and I am still figuring out where else I need to avoid future slop traps.
